Minimal Marketable Product (MMP)
An Minimal Marketable Product (MMP) is often confused with the concept of Minimum Viable Product (MVP) but while complementary, they are not the same thing. An MVP’s objective is to gather information from potential target users to validate the idea and check if the project is actually a money maker while the MMP is aimed at the early adopters with the smallest possible feature set that addresses users needs. In short, MVP is a market & product testing and learning tool while the MMP is the very first marketable version of your product. An MMP’s main purpose is to reduce the time-to-market because of its few features and simplicity.
