The « three C’s » stands for Card, Conversation and Confirmation. This is the recommended process for defining user stories. 1. Card The user story should be written on a post-it note with the following format: “As a [particular user], I want to [perform this action], so that [I can achieve this goal.]” 2. Conversation A conversation between all the stakeholders takes place for elaboration, value estimation and validation 3. Confirmation Confirmation is defining the acceptance criteria for the user story so the definition of Ready is clear. The tests for validating the functionality works as it should and the definition of Done for the user story are also discussed.
