An Epic refers to a large body of work that can be broken down into smaller pieces, called user stories. An epic is usually a user story that requires too much work to fit into a single sprint and therefore, broken down into smaller ones.

In Scrum, meetings are called « events“ (formerly called « ceremonies ») to define four important ones within the Scrum framework :

  1. Sprint Planning

  2. Daily Scrum

  3. Sprint Review

  4. Sprint Retrospective
