Reduced Risks

The product will generate revenue fast before the end of the project

Starting with a working product after the very first sprint decreases the risk of complete failure of the project. The motto is fail fast or succeed big.

Release additional features at the end of each sprint give two major opportunities; Changes can be implemented at very little cost because of the frequency of new increments and the working product can already generate early revenue with self-funding projects, allowing to improve the product with little upfront expenses.

Using user stories to define new features ensures covering real customer needs, with each new feature delivering more value. Having customer feedback from the very beginning provides minimal risk throughout the project, rather than working for one (1) year just to realize nobody on the market needs what you’ve been building. As the project progresses, the risk continues to go down to reach zero (0) at the time of final delivery.
